Banlieu du Vide patiently and unspectacularly observes empty snowy streets so as to show the floating of time. The footage was taken from surveillance cameras and is accompanied by the noise of invisible traffic. 
Ars Electronica awarded it the Golden Nica in the category Digital Musics in 2004.
