In 2008 the successful Werkleitz has turned its former Biennial into the annual Werkleitz Festival and thereby strengthened its regional position.

The flexible format comprises thematic cooperations, curated film programmes and exhibitions as well as presentations of stipends’ works realised within our international exchange programmes.
